OUR SURF COACHING METHOD

TOLPOW - TRAIN ON LAND PERFORM ON WATER

TOLPOW (Train On Land, Perform On Water) is our own coaching system: every move you make in the water starts with focused work on land. We build muscle memory and headspace before you even paddle out.

It is more than surf lessons. We work on your goals with tools that actually move the needle: video analysis, prep & rep, surfskate, mobility.

TRIP PROGRAMME

MENTAWAI DAY BY DAY

13 days, 12 nights. 12 water sessions with daily feedback, 5 video analysis sessions, TOLPOW on land and mobility. Tides, wind and swell set the plan.

Between sessions: freesurf, a scooter and an island with no roads or cars to explore.

REMEMBER: The schedule is our road map, but the ocean deals the cards. We adapt the plan to the conditions every day.

BASECAMP: OMBARA RESORT

We stay at Ombara Resort

a small resort among the palms, a few steps from the ocean and minutes from legendary waves. Air-conditioned bungalows with bathrooms, a pool, hammocks and Starlink Wi-Fi.

  • Do I need to know how to surf?
    No. Every camp has beginner groups, and our coaches pick the spots to match your level.
    How many people are in a group?
    We coach in small groups, so the coach has time for everyone in the water.
  • What is included in the price?
    Accommodation, coaching sessions, video analysis, equipment and travel and accident insurance. You book your own flights. Each camp page lists exactly what is included.
    Can I come on my own?
    Yes, most people come solo. From day one you are part of the crew.
  • Why surfskate at a surf camp?
    Surfskating lets you practise balance, timing and body movement on land, without the pressure of waves. It is the fastest way to better turns in the water.
  • Do I need my own board and wetsuit?
    No. A softboard, leash and wetsuit (where you need one) are included in the price.
  • How do I book a place at a camp?
    Choose a destination and dates on the booking page, then fill in the application form.
    How does payment work?
    Booking a place usually requires a deposit, and the remaining amount is settled before departure.
    Can I cancel my booking?
    Yes. Cancellation terms depend on the type of trip and how close to departure you cancel.
